“Renate Aller: The Space Between Memory and Expectation, Ocean | Desert”
Visual artist Renate Aller is known for her large-scale photographs capturing the similarities between the ocean and desert. From January 25 – April 25, 2016, a selection of Aller’s vibrant, spectacular and calming works will be on display in the lobbies of Total Plaza and One Allen Center in Downtown Houston. The free exhibition, titled The Space Between Memory and Expectation, Ocean|Desert, is curated by Sally Reynolds and presented by Arts Brookfield in cooperation with Fotofest 2016 Biennial, Changing Circumstances. Arts Brookfield is a global initiative of leading commercial property company Brookfield, which invigorates the workplaces and public spaces of its premier buildings through the presentation of free arts and cultural experiences. An opening reception will be held on March 22 from 5-7 p.m.
